Amanda Quraishi is a full-time freelance writer, blogger, and activist living in Austin, Texas.  She is passionate about womens’ issues and the environment.  In addition to  writing for  Allay!, Amanda writes a popular blog on sustainable fashion and beauty for which she was recognized as one of the 2009 honorees of the National Women’s  History Project for being one of a distinguished group of Women Taking the Lead to Save Our Planet.


Meieli Sawyer Detoni is an established author and journalist who specializes in lifestyle topics. She has been published in both print and online media internationally, and she’s a proud member of the Freelancers Union. Meieli lives in Miami Beach with her husband, her overstuffed closet, and her menagerie.
